Welcome to Golden Resume Creations, where I produce documents that are good as gold!

As a freelance technical writer, and Certified Professional Resume Writer, (CPRW) I established a home-based business called, “Golden Resume Creations,” where I primarily produce resumes, cover letters, bios, profiles, etc. but also write articles, on a wide-range of subject matter, targeted at audiences, worldwide.

Prior to moving from Illinois to Wisconsin, I spent 10 years in the field of direct marketing, managing all aspects of production for direct mail projects, and coordinating the work flow. I streamlined processes, saved the company money and took advantage of becoming an expert in the principals of print production.

After moving to Madison, and finding it impossible to return to the work I loved, I made a life altering decision, and went back to school. First, I completed my AA, in business, graduating with the highest honors. Then I graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies. This enabled me to acquire expertise in three, instead of one concentration. I focused on professional writing, business and behavioral sciences.

I tell all prospective clients, “As a CPRW it is my objective to produce a high-impact resume that markets your foremost skills, making you stand out of the crowd. By integrating your most marketable and viable skills, along with education, relevant work history, recognition and any quantitative achievements, I can optimize your strongest attributes, and get your foot in some tightly closed doors!”

I firmly believe providing the highest quality service to each and every client is the key to a successful business, and had the pleasure of working with individuals in countries such as Australia, Canada, China, Dubai, Egypt, England, France, Germany, India, Israel, Korea, Netherlands, Nigeria, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden and the Ukraine.

My greatest strengths are common sense, resourcefulness, the ability to avoid problems by thinking ahead, integrity and an honest work ethic.

Welcome to my site!

Hi,

As a freelance technical writer, and Certified Professional Resume Writer, (CPRW) I established a home-based business called, “Golden Resume Creations,” where produce a multitude of documents and materials, on a wide-range of subject matter, targeted at diverse audiences, worldwide. These include resumes, cover letters, bios, profiles, articles, reports, business materials, academic materials, web content, product & promotional copy, brochures/newsletters, presentations, proposals, reviews, in addition to editing, consulting, and a variety of other services.

Prior to moving from Illinois to Wisconsin, I spent 10 years in the field of direct marketing, managing all aspects of production for direct mail projects, and coordinating the work flow. I streamlined processes, saved the company money and took advantage of becoming an expert in the principals of print production.

After moving to Madison, and finding it impossible to return to the work I loved, I made a life altering decision, and went back to school, online, graduating Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This enabled me to acquire expertise in three, instead of just one concentration. I focused on professional/technical writing, business and behavioral sciences.

I’m not the kind of writer who cranks out 20 projects a day. I take my time, because I want to give my clients personalized, one-on-one service, and be available to accommodate their needs.

Let’s face it, [unqualified] writer’s are a dime a dozen, willing to sell their services at such a ridiculously low price, it’s difficult for true professionals who don’t just claim they know what they’re doing, but have demonstrated proof, to earn a living!

I want to appeal to prospective clients, everywhere. If you are seeking a professionally produced product, be it a resume, article, Statement of Purpose, etc. you are going to have to pay for it. Professional’s do not write articles, or resumes, particularly for $10! I see this so often, it makes me sick. Some individual is looking for a “professional” writer to compose a resume and cover letter; and is willing to pay $15! Think about that. What type of professional services are you going to get for $15? Anyone who will take jobs for this kind of money is NOT qualified, and shouldn’t be advertising themselves as a writer. Because if they had a brain, they wouldn’t work for nothing. I can’t tell you how many clients have come to me, after having a resume or some other project written by one of these so-called professionals. They were swayed by a cheap price, not quality work, and now they are paying me to fix the crap the other person sold them.

Clients, I beg you. Think about what you are doing. Would you go to a doctor because he/or she offered low,low prices? Would you hire a plumber, contractor, or any other individual to provide you with an important service, for a price that is rock-bottom. There’s an expression, “You get what you pay for,” and in this industry it couldn’t be more true.

I go out of my way to accommodate and help my clients, but don’t insult me by thinking I’ll write your paper for practically nothing if you whine a bit. Go complain to someone who cares. I am an educated, experienced writer, who prides myself on delivering on the highest quality work. But, it won’t come cheap.

I’m just trying to enlighten the average person, and let you know for quality services, you will have to shell out some money. If all you care about is price, there are plenty of “wanna be’s” out there, who will gladly give you 1,000 words, for $1.50! But, please don’t bother coming to me complaining of the crap you got for your $1.50. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. It’s the cold hard truth and about time someone addresses this issue.
